Personal Information

Goncalo Leal is a Speech and Language Therapist, Co-Founder, and Clinical Director at Speechcare / iStutter Center (Portugal, Spain, UAE). He is also a Professor and mentor in the "Specialization on Fluency Disorders" program at the Faculty of Medicine of Concepción's University in Chile. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Portuguese Society of Speech Therapy.

With extensive expertise in stuttering, he serves as a Clinical Educator and has conducted academic collaborations and courses in over 20 countries across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. He has coauthored books, chapters, and papers in the field of stuttering.
